Purpose of Alerts
This tab is for specifying important degrees or planets to watch as Timaeus monitors the sky to see if any of these positions are near or at the angles of your location. You may wish to watch for important degrees in your birth chart such as your natal Sun, Moon, Ascendant, Mercury, Venus, Mars, Jupiter, Saturn, etc... or the transiting planets as these pass over the horizon or meridian.
When an alert is triggered, it is shown as a red exclamation point in the system tray next to the planetary hour glyph:
When you hover the mouse over the icon, a popup hint appears stating what the alert is (You can custom specify these in the alerts tab).
